Operators (PSOs)
These entities provide the infrastructure necessary for the clearing and settlement of transactions. As a PayFac, your operations will intersect with these systems, particularly in how you manage transaction flows, settlements, and compliance with the rules set forth by PSOs.
02
System Operators (SOs)
As a Payment Facilitator, you'll need to interact with System Operators that provide services and infrastructure critical for facilitating payments. This includes the technology and services that enable secure transaction processing, which is a core part of the AddPay Incubation Program's training.
03
Payment Clearing House System Operators (PCH SOs)
They play a crucial role in the processing and clearing of payment instructions. Understanding their function is essential for managing the risks associated with clearing and settlement, which is a focus during the Implementation phase of the program.
04
Banks and Payment System Participants
As a PayFac, you'll need to develop strong relationships with banks, as they are key to the success of your operations. Banks provide the necessary accounts and settlement services, and understanding the regulatory framework in which they operate is crucial.
05
Regulators (South African Reserve Bank and PASA
Compliance with regulatory requirements set by the SARB and PASA is mandatory for PayFacs. The AddPay Incubation Program emphasizes this through comprehensive training on compliance instruments such as PCI DSS, AML, and SARB regulations.
